An independent information resource for Pakistani mobile numbers: number formats, network prefixes, Mobile Number Portability, and official PTA guidance for verifying the SIMs on your own CNIC.
PakSimLookUpis an independent information resource for Pakistani mobile-number formats, network prefixes, and official SIM-verification guidance. It helps subscribers understand how Pakistani numbers are structured, which network a prefix was originally allocated to, and how to verify SIM registration through PTA's official services: *668# and cnic.sims.pk for the SIMs on your own CNIC, and MNP to 667 for the SIM in your hand.
Pakistan requires every SIM to be linked to a verified identity through biometric registration. Many subscribers are unsure how to read a number's prefix, whether a number has been ported, or how to check their own SIMs. Our goal is to close that knowledge gap with clear, sourced guides — and to steer people away from the unsafe "SIM database" websites that promise other people's private records.

Not a substitute for official channels. For anything that requires verified records — banking, legal, or regulatory — use the official PTA services (*668#, cnic.sims.pk) or your operator directly.
Every guide on this site follows the same editorial process: claims are checked against official sources — PTA publications, operator documentation, and government legislation — before publication. Where a figure, code, or date cannot be traced to an official source, we leave it out.
