What We Publish
PakSimLookUp publishes educational guides about SIM owner details, SIM registration, mobile network identification, and digital safety in Pakistan. Every article covers only the official, PTA-authorized methods for checking SIM information: 668, cnic.sims.pk, MNP to 667, 76367, and PTA's RAABTA WhatsApp assistant. We do not operate, access, or promote any private SIM database, paid lookup service, or third-party CNIC data tool.
Sourcing Standards
Every statistic, code, date, and legal penalty on this site must trace back to at least one of:
- The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) — official releases, telecom indicators, and public notices
- NADRA — statements, biometric policy, and official advisories
- The Supreme Court of Pakistan — rulings (e.g., the November 5, 2015 SIM-limit judgment)
- PKCERT — security advisories and malware analysis
- The NCCIA — enforcement reports and the 1799 cyber helpline
- A named, dated news outlet (e.g., Geo Fact Check, ProPakistani, Dawn, Express Tribune) where government documents are not public
If a figure or date cannot be traced to a source of this kind, we leave it out. Figures that drift between unofficial sites are flagged rather than repeated. Where we have repeated a claim that later proved false, we correct it openly and note the correction (see below).
Correction Policy
We correct errors openly. If a page contained an outdated or incorrect figure, the page is updated with the verified figure and the correction is noted in the page's sources section. For example, this site previously cited a "7 years imprisonment + Rs. 5.7 million fine" penalty that circulates widely online; the actual PECA 2016 maximums are Section 16 (up to 3 years or Rs. 5,000,000) and Section 17 (up to 3 years or Rs. 500,000), and all affected pages have been corrected.

Verification Cadence
Content is re-verified quarterly: USSD and SMS codes are re-tested, statistics are refreshed to the newest PTA figure, and the "last reviewed" date on each page is updated. Major regulatory changes (policy shifts, operator mergers, new official channels) are incorporated as they are announced by PTA or NADRA.
Privacy Pledge
We store no CNIC records, perform no unauthorized lookups, and never trade in anyone's data. Lookups run on this site query publicly available operator channels for network and registration information; nothing you enter is sold or logged.
Independence
PakSimLookUp is an independent educational service. We are not affiliated with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), NADRA, or any telecom operator. Reference to official channels does not imply endorsement. For official regulatory information, always verify at pta.gov.pk and nadra.gov.pk.
