What We Publish
PakSimLookUpis an independent information resource for Pakistani mobile-number formats, network prefixes, and official SIM-verification guidance. The lookup tool on this site matches a number's 03XX prefix against published PTA allocations to show the likely original network. Guides on this site cover SIM registration, Mobile Number Portability, and the official PTA methods for checking the SIMs on your own CNIC.

Methodology
When information is published on this site, we follow the same process:
- Prefix-to-network mappings are checked against PTA's numbering plan allocations before publication.
- Official codes (*668#, MNP to 667, cnic.sims.pk) are verified against PTA's own guidance and operator documentation.
- Figures, dates, and legal references are traced to an official source; anything that cannot be traced is left out.
Allocations and codes can change.PTA may reissue or revise numbering ranges, and Mobile Number Portability (MNP) means a number can be active on a network other than the one that originally owned its prefix. The information on this site is verified as of the "last reviewed" date on each page — always confirm time-sensitive information on the official source before relying on it.
How the Lookup Tool Works
- You enter a Pakistani mobile number in the lookup box.
- The number is validated and normalized to the standard 11-digit local format (03XX-XXXXXXX).
- The tool identifies the network operator originally allocated the number's prefix and shows it as the likely original network.
- Due to MNP, the current carrier may differ from the original allocation. For the SIM in your hand, you can confirm its registration status by sending MNP to 667.

Prefix allocations and PTA service details are verified against official PTA sources and reviewed when PTA publishes updates.
