PakSimLookUp vs Other SIM Database Sites – Why We Are Different
Not all SIM lookup websites are built the same. Here is how we compare — and why safety, privacy, and transparency matter.
If you have searched for SIM owner details in Pakistan, you have likely come across multiple websites offering the same service. Sites like Pakdata CF, Pakdata ML, Live Finder Net, and dozens of others all claim to give you mobile number information. But how do they really compare?
We built PakSimLookUp differently. This comparison is our honest assessment of where we stand against the broader landscape of SIM database websites in Pakistan.

| Feature | PakSimLookUp | Other Sites | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Requires APK/App Download | Many competitors force APK downloads that contain malware (PKCERT advisories confirm Raccoon and RedLine malware in SIM checker APKs). | ||
| Stores Your Searches | We do not store any lookup results. Some sites log your number searches and sell the data. | ||
| HTTPS Encryption | All connections are encrypted. Many clone sites still run on unsecured HTTP. | ||
| Clear Privacy Policy | Our privacy policy explains exactly what we collect and do not collect. Most competitors have no policy at all. | ||
| Asks for Your CNIC | We only ask for a phone number. Sites that ask for your CNIC to check someone else are harvesting identities. |
Features & Accuracy
| Feature | PakSimLookUp | Other Sites | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| PTA Official Methods Referenced | We link to *668#, 667 SMS, and cnic.pta.gov.pk. Most competitors hide official alternatives. | ||
| Multi-Network Support (Jazz, Zong, Telenor, Ufone, SCOM) | We cover all 5 Pakistani networks with network-specific USSD codes and lookup methods. | ||
| MNP Status Check | We detect number portability. Most basic sites only show the original operator. | ||
| Prefix Allocations Database | Our prefix database covers 300+ mobile prefixes with allocation details. | ||
| Works Without App Install | Both work in the browser, but many competitors push app installs midway. |
Transparency
| Feature | PakSimLookUp | Other Sites | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Author Information (Real Name & Bio) | Our content is written by Lynn Batten, an independent cybersecurity researcher. Most sites are anonymous. | ||
| Dateline & Last Updated Date | Every article and tool page shows when it was last reviewed. Competitors rarely date their content. | ||
| Sources & Methodology Section | We cite PTA, PKCERT, PECA 2016, and NCCIA. Other sites provide no source attribution. | ||
| Contact Information Available | We have a contact page and respond to inquiries. Fake sites have no contact details. | ||
| About Page with Full Disclosure | Our About page explains who runs the site and our mission. Anonymous sites are a red flag. |

Why This Comparison Matters
PTA has blocked over 1,400 fraudulent SIM database websites. PKCERT has issued multiple advisories about malware distributed through SIM checker APKs. When you use a SIM lookup site, you are trusting it with sensitive personal data — a phone number that can be traced back to your identity.
We built PakSimLookUp to be the alternative you can trust. Every feature, every design decision, and every piece of content on this site is guided by one principle: give users the information they need without compromising their safety.

Methodology. Comparison features were evaluated by testing 15+ SIM database websites active as of July 2026. Each site was assessed on the same criteria: privacy policy presence, HTTPS status, APK requirements, data storage practices, author transparency, and source attribution. Sites tested include Pakdata CF, Pakdata ML, Live Finder Net, and generic SIM owner details clones.
