How to Report Unauthorized SIM Registration
If you discover SIM cards registered on your CNIC without your knowledge, take these steps immediately.

Unauthorized SIMs can be used for illegal activities including fraud, spam, and criminal offenses. Immediate reporting helps protect you from legal liability and prevents further misuse of your identity.
Step 1: Identify Unauthorized SIMs
Before reporting, you need to identify which SIMs are unauthorized. Dial *668# from your mobile phone. You will receive an SMS listing all SIMs registered on your CNIC. Review the list and note any numbers you do not recognize.
Take a screenshot or write down the unauthorized numbers and their associated operators. This information will be essential for filing complaints.
Step 2: Contact Your Mobile Operator
Reach out to your mobile network operator immediately. Provide them with:
- Your full name and CNIC number
- The unauthorized mobile numbers found via
*668# - A request to block those numbers from your CNIC

Step 3: File a PTA Complaint

- PTA Helpline: Call 0800-22732 (toll-free) for assistance and guidance.
- Visit PTA Office: You can visit the nearest PTA regional office in person.
Step 4: Report to FIA Cyber Crime Wing
If you suspect the unauthorized SIM registration is part of a larger fraud or criminal activity, file a complaint with the FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) Cyber Crime Wing:

- Helpline: Call 1991 for cyber crime reporting

Step 5: Visit NADRA
For comprehensive assistance, visit your nearest NADRA center with your original CNIC. NADRA can help verify your identity and coordinate with PTA and operators to resolve unauthorized SIM registrations.
