Jazz, formerly Mobilink, is Pakistan's largest mobile network operator with over 70 million subscribers. It was founded in 1994 as Mobilink and later merged with Warid Telecom in 2017. Jazz offers 4G LTE services across major cities and towns in Pakistan. As a subsidiary of VEON, Jazz also provides digital financial services through JazzCash.
Jazz was originally allocated the following mobile number prefixes by PTA:
A typical Jazz number in international and local formats:
Local Format
0300XXXXXXX
International Format
+92300XXXXXXX
Due to Mobile Number Portability (MNP), a number starting with a Jazz prefix may now be registered with another operator. Prefix-based identification indicates the original network allocation and may not reflect the current carrier. Always verify the current operator through official PTA channels.

Your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is sensitive personal information. Only share it with authorized entities such as official SIM registration centers, NADRA offices, and licensed mobile network operator franchises.
Be cautious of unauthorized SIM registration. A SIM card registered against your CNIC without your knowledge can be misused for illegal activities. Regularly verify how many SIMs are registered on your CNIC through official channels.
Never share your CNIC details, photographs, or fingerprints with unverified third-party websites or individuals. Always use official PTA and NADRA channels for SIM verification.
