ONIC is a digital MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) that runs on the Ufone network. There are no physical SIM cards or franchises — you activate through the ONIC app with biometric verification and a QR code, and appear in your 668 CNIC check exactly like any other SIM.
ONIC was originally allocated the following mobile number prefixes by PTA:
A typical ONIC number in international and local formats:
Local Format
0339XXXXXXX
International Format
+92339XXXXXXX
Due to Mobile Number Portability (MNP), a number starting with an ONIC prefix may now be registered with another operator. Prefix-based identification indicates the original network allocation and may not reflect the current carrier. Always verify the current operator through official PTA channels.

Your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is sensitive personal information. Only share it with authorized entities such as official SIM registration centers, NADRA offices, and licensed mobile network operator franchises.
Be cautious of unauthorized SIM registration. A SIM card registered against your CNIC without your knowledge can be misused for illegal activities. Regularly verify how many SIMs are registered on your CNIC through official channels.
Never share your CNIC details, photographs, or fingerprints with unverified third-party websites or individuals. Always use official PTA and NADRA channels for SIM verification.
