Zong is a Pakistani mobile network operator owned by China Mobile Communications Corporation. Launched in 2008 after acquiring Paktel, Zong was the first operator to launch 3G and later 4G services in Pakistan. It is known for competitive data packages and extensive 4G coverage.
Zong was originally allocated the following mobile number prefixes by PTA:
A typical Zong number in international and local formats:
Local Format
0310XXXXXXX
International Format
+92310XXXXXXX
Due to Mobile Number Portability (MNP), a number starting with a Zong prefix may now be registered with another operator. Prefix-based identification indicates the original network allocation and may not reflect the current carrier. Always verify the current operator through official PTA channels.

Your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is sensitive personal information. Only share it with authorized entities such as official SIM registration centers, NADRA offices, and licensed mobile network operator franchises.
Be cautious of unauthorized SIM registration. A SIM card registered against your CNIC without your knowledge can be misused for illegal activities. Regularly verify how many SIMs are registered on your CNIC through official channels.
Never share your CNIC details, photographs, or fingerprints with unverified third-party websites or individuals. Always use official PTA and NADRA channels for SIM verification.
